What To Expect From Our Chiropractors
Why Choose Us
-
Comprehensive First Visit
At your first visit, we cover your history, conduct a thorough assessment, and provide full initial treatment. Your health is our priority, and we won’t spread this process unnecessary across multiple visits.
-
No 5 Minute Appointments
As musculoskeletal primary healthcare providers, our focus is on your recovery and we do more than adjustments. You’ll receive full attention and treatment from the chiropractor during your appointment as we do not book multiple patients at once.
-
Finding The Root Cause For Lasting Results
Our top priority is identifying the underlying causes of pain, injury, postural overload, and limited mobility. Our chiropractors have advanced training in musculoskeletal biomechanics, medical diagnostics, manual therapy, clinical neurology, and rehabilitation. This strong diagnostic foundation allows us to help you achieve long-term results.
-
Punctuality Matters
We respect your time and are committed to staying on schedule,
so you're rarely kept waiting.
-
Empowering Self-Management
Our goal is to help you recover through treatment, education and self-care.
-
Evidence-Based Musculoskeletal Care

The Initial Visit
What Happens The First Time You See A Chiropractor
Step 1 - Booking Your Appointment
You can easily book your initial visit online through our online booking, or you can reach out to us by phone, email, or SMS. Please note that while our reception may not always be available during operating hours, we aim to respond within the hour.
If you would like to discuss your case in advance, simply request a complimentary call from one of our chiropractors. We're here to help!
Step 2 - Comprehensive Health History & Assessment
At your initial appointment, our chiropractors will take the time to thoroughly review your medical and physical history. This includes discussing past injuries, current symptoms, lifestyle factors, and any previous treatments. We will ask detailed questions to gain a complete understanding of your overall health and to help identify the most likely cause of your concerns.
Our chiropractors hold a master’s degree and are university-trained in medical pathology, neurology, public health prevention, and musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions. This expertise provides us with a solid clinical understanding of the potential underlying causes of your condition. Having the correct diagnosis is often critical for achieving the best outcome.
Based on the initial interview and our clinical assessments, we may refer you to other healthcare professionals, arrange for medical x-rays, and/or begin chiropractic treatment if we believe it would benefit you. In most cases, we will commence full treatment from day one.
Step 3 - Starting Your Treatment
After completing a thorough assessment of your posture, biomechanics, and muscle function—and ruling out any neurological or medical causes of your pain—we will discuss our findings with you before starting your personalised treatment plan. This plan will generally consist of several key components
-
Hands-On Care: Your treatment may include gentle techniques such as joint mobilisations, soft tissue release, and dry needling (a form of muscular acupuncture distinct from traditional acupuncture) to improve mobility and relieve discomfort. For some patients, we may also perform high-velocity adjustments, known as spinal manipulation, which can sometimes create a “cracking sound” and help restore proper joint alignment, movement, and function.
-
Education: Part of our role as primary healthcare providers is to help you understand why pain arises, how to manage it effectively, and how to prevent future episodes. You will receive insights into your condition, practical advice for managing pain, injury prevention strategies, and nutrition advice when relevant.
-
Active Care: We strongly believe in empowering you with knowledge and personalised strategies for active recovery. This includes targeted exercises and stretches to support your healing and help you maintain improvements at home
For more complex or chronic cases, we often work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as medical doctors, physiotherapists, podiatrists, or dentists, to provide you with comprehensive support.
Our approach combines passive and active care to facilitate movement and equip you for long-term self-care. Whether you benefit from regular visits or only need occasional support, we’re here to guide you towards enhanced biomechanics, better performance, and a more active, pain-free lifestyle.
